Pete Crozier, son of George and Nancy, husband of Sarah.
Sarah and I are fortunate beyond measure to be called Mom and Dad by these amazing humans: Sam, Maggie, Gavin and Tess (our Fab Four).
I'm (gulp) 50 years old.
I currently work at Junior Achievement of Central Ohio (Columbus) as part of an inspiring team of staff, educators, community leaders and volunteers who partner to teach kids The Business of Life!
In honor of my dad, I played 50 Courses in 50 States in 50 Days while raising money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
Just before his 5th birthday, our son, Gavin, was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
As far as I'm concerned, on that day, those doctors and nurses saved my little boy's life. I'm equally confident in saying the brilliant minds at JDRF have improved Gavin's life since his diagnosis and they will extend his life because, with your help, THEY WILL find a cure!
JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Their mission is to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications
Today, more than 70 human clinical trials studying life-changing drugs, treatments and devices are under way with support from JDRF

As a parent of a child with type 1 diabetes, my mission didn't end with the final putt. This isn't over until there is a cure. Be sure to follow Fifty for Father on Facebook for updates on future events and how you can get involved. Thank you for your support!
