I am embarking on this journey to raise money for diabetes research and to get to know my dad ... twenty years after his death.
I started on May 27 in Southport, North Carolina and will finish 50 days later in Worcester, Massachusetts, on the course where my dad learned to play.
Please contact Cassie Larrabee at clarrabee@buffalo.agency for more info, to schedule an interview, to request a press release or to gain access to existing photos and videos of the journey around which you can build a story. Thank you.
NBC's Matt Finkel met us at Lyman Orchards and produced a very creative segment on Fifty for Father. Thank you!
I will be finishing my journey on Day 50 in Worcester, MA, on the course where my dad learned to play. Ken Powers of This Week Worcester wrote one of the best articles on Fifty for Father.

Megan Hedstrom of Spectrum News produced a very creative story about my mission. Cool camera angles and ideas. Great job, Megan!
Thanks to Bud Denega and the Sheridan Press for covering Fifty for Father as I passed through Wyoming. My favorite part of Bud's story … he went the extra mile and called my son to add to the interview.
Candace Martino of WJAC heard my story in May and had it on her calendar to cover our story when we came to her home state of Pennsylvania. Candace, thanks for making the 2-hour drive to Latrobe!
On the Fourth of July, Rebecca Burnett met me at the 1757 Club in Sterling, Virginia, to learn more about Fifty for Father. Thank you!

A great article from Kelsey Stewart at the Omaha World-Herald. Kelsey and I had a long phone conversation while I drove across North Dakota, then she met me at the Omaha Country Club for a follow up.
Doug Wolter of The Globe in Worthington, Minnesota, joined us on the course for a few holes. We had a wonderful conversation, including talking about how Doug had lost his father too soon as well. Read his article about Fifty for Father below.
Alex from Fox5 in Vegas met me bright and early (5:30am!) at The Club at Sunrise to get footage for her story on Fifty For Father. Watch it below. Thank you!
